Texas Tech -7
OU -1.5

---
If I know anything I know Tech football. They blew out NM last year @NM 49-0 and always play MUCH better at home. The loss of Kingsbury this year and his impact on this team is way overated. He was a product of the system. BJ has a stronger arm AND can move better than Kliff. Very tough to imagine this game being anything close to 7.

Does anybody really think that a ****ed up Bama team will beat OU? MAYBE cover the spread, but I don't expect that either.

If this does lose just promise you'll visit me in the hopsital.

I feel your pain already...NM is TOUGH as nails and loaded this year. They may very well upset an overrated TT team coming off a misleading blowout over SMU (SMU dominated in time of possession and first downs...like most of my losers last week, they turned the ball over heavily).

if you're dumb enough to bet teasers in college football you deserve to have your legs broken! as i have said before - and will no doubt say many more times:

college football + teasers = STUPID!

most of the time the teasing has no outcome on the game and only reduces the amount you win.

Your last statement is proably the biggest indictment against CFB teasers. I do however like 2 tmr`s in the NFL crossing 3 twice where possible.

As Winky mentioned in alot of cases the teaser numbers never come into play in all sports. Every time you hit a teaser check and see if you would of hit it playing a parlay. I am not much of a parlay fan but a three teamer at 6-1 is a bit better then -110. Truth is teasers are for bettors who are not confident enough to play straight bets IMO
Good Luck

Teasers are not bad value when it comes to the NFL due to the parody. I agree that teasers in college offer little value. It is more likely that a double digit dog will win outright in college than the pros.

My first teaser EVER. I liked both of these games with the spread but must admit I do feel more confident with how the #s were moved to
-1 and -7.

Will "The Man" be coming to get you or are you voluntarily going to jump out of a window?

I fail to understand why people will play a teaser when they can adjust the line on the money line and get a higher payout. Most books offer both teaser and money line parlays.

If I'm going to move the line 6 points on both games if I play a teaser booked at 11/10 my return on 100 bucks will be 191 bucks.

Those same two teams played on a money line parlay where we moved the line 6 points for both teams will pay more than the 11/10 booked for the teaser. How much more? Do the math and find out for yourself. I won't do the work for you, but if your serious about playing teasers at least be smart enough to checkout what I'm saying and save some money over the season. Teasers are for people who really don't know what time it is. Check your clock before your BM cleans yours.

Remember....money line parlays will always pay better than a teaser. Check it out for yourself!

SD: I believe your math is a mistake. Both teams parlayed on the money line for $100 = $159 return and this is with pinnace odds. I wish you were right though.

I CAN TAKE MY CRUTCHES OFF LAYAWAY!!! The games were never too much in doubt, but there were a few scares. Needless to say if I didn't play it as a teaser I would have lost the bet. I realize in the long run teasing is a losing strategy to bet but I guess I happened to be on the right side of the street on this random walk.

On a side note would Stalker-Dude please come in and correct my math if it is mistaken.

Your little math problem there added in with your previous statement lead me to do my own little math problem.

you a 2 team teaser for $100 + you dont or cant pay = you get your legs broken?

im a small time player myself, but c'mon. i thought only paul didnt pay off his small losses.

teaser wasn't for a $100, I just used it as an example because SD used $100 in his calculation and I wanted to make it easiest for him to understand.
